The ITS Congress is the biggest event focused on smart mobility and the digitalisation of transport, offering stakeholders and patrons the ultimate platform to meet with industry influencers, discuss ideas and initiatives, make new contacts and promote their businesses by taking part in a range of activities.
The 2021 edition “Experience Future Mobility Now” was the opportunity for Trustonomy to present the paper “IRIS – A Driver State Monitoring Android Application”, by Catalink, one of the H2020 project partners. The paper aims at presenting in detail the design and the development of a DSM android application which aims at providing real-time monitoring and assessment of the drowsiness and inattention level of a driver. IRIS is based on an on-device machine learning analysis of incoming frames from the front camera of a smartphone and is able to notify the driver through a set of alerts about his/her status.
Thanks to a stand organized by Catalink, the ITS Congress was also the perfect occasion to share information on Trustonomy through project leaflets and a dedicated video presentation.
Last but not least, during the congress, CINEA presented its new brochure dedicated to projects funded under the Research and Innovation program Horizon 2020 and focusing on Automated Road Transport. Trustonomy is included in this comprehensive overview, available here
